The Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS) has become the most widely used OCD assessment measure. The Y-BOCS is a clinician-administered interview measure. Effective use of the Y-BOCS can shed light on the content of a client’s obsessions and compulsions as well as the severity of a client’s symptoms. Tracking change over time can provide evidence to your clients, and yourself, that therapy is being effective.
In this 1-hour lunch-and-learn, participants will receive an overview of the Y-BOCS. Strategies for effective administration of the Y-BOCS will be offered and demonstrated. Resources for further information and training will be provided.
