Please join us on Friday October 13, 2023 at Rivier University in Nashua for a one-day workshop titled “Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD: Theory and Practice.” The first three-hour portion will focus on establishing common understanding of DSM-5 criteria and a variety of ways that OCD can present, explaining the inhibitory learning model, and laying the groundwork for exposure and response prevention. Throughout the morning, clinical case examples will be used to illustrate the points.
After lunch, two hours will be devoted to practice with exposure skills through practice case analysis led by the presenter and discussed in small groups. Finally, we will hold a one-hour moderated panel discussion featuring people with lived experience of OCD and their loved ones.
